The Most Comprehensive JSON-LD Snippet Ever? Or total insanity?

Last updated July 7, 2025 by Patrick Coombe

Recently I was perusing a local business website and I ran across this snippet (scroll to the end, it is huge)

This post has 8 different types in 1.

  • GeoCoordinates – Geographic location coordinates
  • HomeAndConstructionBusiness – The main business entity
  • PropertyValueSpecification – Search query specification
  • SearchAction – Website search functionality
  • WebSite – The main website entity
  • WebPage – Individual pages (4 instances)
  • OpeningHoursSpecification – Business hours
  • PostalAddress – Physical address

Very thorough structured data coverage for a local business. It properly implements local business schema with geographic coordinates, service areas, and contact information. It includes rich content markup for individual service pages.

It even cites Wikidata entries for each city!

Overall it is really well done. My question, is it too much? Is it overkill for a small business? Should these be broken up into smaller snippets?
